Batch-Level Certification
Recurring, batch-specific verification to confirm that every shipment meets buyer specifications and regulatory requirements before it leaves the facility.
Why It Matters
Without batch-level verification, issues are discovered only on arrival, leading to rejected shipments, avoidable logistics costs, and reputational damage. Batch-Level Management (BLM) moves quality control upstream, where it is most effective.
STEPS
Operational Steps
01
Export Notification
The Batch-Level Management (BLM) process is initiated when the supplier or buyer notifies Clear that a specific batch is ready for export.
02
Statistical Sampling
A Clear auditor performs on-site sampling according to ISO 2859-1, drawing random samples across units/containers to ensure true representativeness.
03
Tamper-Evident Sealing
After sampling, tamper-evident seals are applied to bulk containers and samples.
04
Laboratory Analysis
The auditor transfers the sealed sample set directly to an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory, ensuring the resulting COA is unquestionably linked to that batch and sampling event.
05
Technical Evaluation
In parallel with lab testing, Clear carries out three technical evaluations: a sensory review of aroma, appearance and structure, a microscopy check for contaminants and trichome integrity, and an objective grading assessment to assign the final quality class.
06
Certification Decision
If lab results and technical evaluations meet acceptance criteria, Clear issues the CCS Batch Certificate and clears the batch for export. If a critical parameter fails, Clear issues a structured non-conformity report.
