Who decides how your data is used

Clear S.r.l. Società Benefit runs this site and is the data controller for everything described here. Write to administration@clearsrlsb.com for anything on this page, including to exercise the rights below.

What we collect, and why

The quotation form asks for your company, your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and your answers about the audit you need. We use them to prepare the quotation you asked for and to reply to you. The legal basis is taking the steps you asked us to take before a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

The consultation page embeds the Zoom scheduler. What you type there, your name, your email and the slot you pick, goes to Zoom to create the meeting under Zoom’s own privacy statement, and the embedded calendar sets Zoom’s cookies and loads Zoom’s scripts.

The research pages ask for your details before the rest of a document opens and before its PDF downloads. We ask for your name and your work email, which we need to send you the document and to answer you, and for your company and role, which are optional and which you can leave empty. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing who reads our technical work and in replying to the request you made (art. 6.1.f GDPR). You can object to that use at any time, and we will stop.

The second box on that form, which is yours to leave empty, is a separate consent to be written to again about our research (art. 6.1.a GDPR). It is never a condition of the download: the document arrives whether you tick it or not, and nothing is ticked for you. You can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to administration@clearsrlsb.com, and every message we send will carry its own way to stop them. To be able to show what was agreed, each record keeps the exact wording of both boxes, the date, and the version of this notice that was on screen at the time.

If you write to us by email, we receive your address and what you send, and we use them to answer you.

Where the data lives

Quotation requests and research downloads are written as single records into our own database, hosted for us by Supabase in Frankfurt, inside the European Union, as a processor bound by a data processing agreement and acting only on our instructions. The public part of this site can file a record and cannot read any back; we read them ourselves to answer you. The site is served by Vercel, which processes the technical data any web server sees in order to deliver the page.

We take no automated decisions about you and we build no profiles.

We do not sell personal data, we run no advertising and no analytics, and this site sets no cookies of its own. The one exception is the embedded Zoom calendar described above.

How long we keep it

For as long as it takes to handle your request and, if an engagement follows, for as long as the engagement and the legal duties that come with it require. When neither applies any more, we delete it. Write to us to have it deleted earlier.

A research download is kept for twenty four months from the day you asked for it, and then deleted. If you also consented to hear from us, we keep that consent, and the record of what you agreed to, until you withdraw it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us, at administration@clearsrlsb.com, for any of the following. We answer within one month.

• Access the data we hold about you, and receive a copy.
• Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
• Have your data deleted.
• Restrict or object to how it is used.
• Receive it in a portable format.
• Complain to a supervisory authority. In Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
